I've always liked the Clinique line. I swear by the Turnaround cream, but that doesn't mean it will work for everyone.

You may also want to try a line called Murad.

If you can afford it, I recommend going and have a facial at a spa. A trained esthetician may help point you in the right direction and to products that work best. Also you really should consider a visit to a dermatologist if you have severe acne or premature wrinkles. Only a real doctor can diagnose these problems and recommend a medical treatment for them. Remember, it can take some trial and error to find the right program for you. Good luck!

Mary Kay has always worked well for me. They have a system for normal/dry or combination/oily skin types with age fighting, that you will see results in a few weeks.

Avon has some excellent skin care products. Avon Clearskin Professional is a great product for treating acne. You can go to http://www.youravon.com/helenejohnson to purchase it online and have it shipped to you or to find a local rep who can deliver Avon products to you.

302 Skin Care is organic and designed to "stabilize" your skin. I am a licensed esthetician and own a day spa and this is the only skin care line I am willing to share with my customers. Over the counter and network marketing products create the messes I have to clean up. Good luck with your skin!

I can see its been a long time since u asked this question so u may not be looking for an answer any longer but if u are I recommend a product called Sothys. I am a trained Esthetician and I just found this website. Sothys is a European professional skin care line that is much stronger in natural extracts. In order for a product to be able to work it needs to be high in the natural extracts. Most of the over the counter products are not. A lot of products are high in alcohol and other stripping agents that strip the natural balance of your skin. When the skin is striped it will cause the skin to become dry, hard, and tight. This will over activate the oil glands to produce to much oil and cause the black heads. The Sothys products are gentle and are not going to strip your skin. The oil will slow down and the skin will become balanced. Look Sothys up on the website to find out what salon in your area may sell it. You need the purifying milk cleanser, the purifying spray lotion, the oil control serum and the hydra-matt fluid for your moisturizer morning and night. You have oily skin and always will but this will make your skin healthy and slow down the oil so your not getting the black heads. I do recommend monthly facials also. I hope you get this and good luck.

First of, you need to evaluate your eating habits and diet. Are you eating healthy? Your eating habits will reflect on your skin. You are what you eat as they say. Try vegetables and fruit diet, drink a lot of water (At least 8 glasses a day). Avoid beverages with caffeine like coffee and soda. Proper exercise will also help and enough sleep. These are just basics that we often forget or ignore. Avoid exposure to sun and always use sun block. Do not wash your face more than twice a day. Use mild soap and avoid harsh products that strip the skin of its natural oil which can lead to skin dry skin. I personally use Dove soap and sometimes Cetaphil. If your skin and face is dry, try honey or make honey paste with milk or tomato. Honey attracts water and a very good moisturizer. Most importantly, avoid stress. Enjoy!

I'd say you should choose a skin care regiment that has the least amount of harmful ingredients. Many people believe sometimes greasy moisturizers are necessary to maintain skins moisture but this notion is false. people end up with clogged pores and greasy looking skin that can even cause acne breakouts. Use all natural moisturizers and mild cleansers to keep skin soft and prevent breakouts. You should add honey to your skin care regiment as honey is good for skin when eaten and applied to skin.

When my daughter was your age , ther dermo dr told her to use neutrogena to was her face. She has some prett bad acne.. I think they either put her on a antiboitc or a cream for her face The only way you Will get results is to go to a Dermo dr . Believe me my daughter went through this for years .

First of all do not use proactive. I'm 22 and I was like you at that age and proactive really dries out your skin. I now use Dermalogica and it's amazing. They have products for every type of skin and also great anti aging products for younger people. My face is always clear now, where as before it was blotchy oily and I had pimples everywhere.
