Badger body oil is a herb oil which is organic weithout the bad harsh chemicals and i have very dry skin but feel this works wonderfully and can be used anywhere on the body. A little of it goes a long way also. Also i sometimes use a bit of baby oil on my legs when i am done showering befor i even step out of the shower and i use while my legs are still damp and feel it helps hold in the moisture all day. I hope this helps you.

Neutrogena sells a wonderful body oil. It is reasonably priced and can be found at just about every pharmacy, grocery store or retail store that sells oils, lotions, etc.
My Aunt whom has very sensitive skin recommended this product to me when I was caring for my ailing Grandmother who was experiencing severly dry skin as a result of the Radiation treatments that she was receiving. My Grandmother's skin went from being dry and cracking to extremely smooth in a matter of 24 hours. I began using the product at that time also and have faithfully used it on a daily basis since. I have tried many different body oils both organic/natural to non organic and nothing has worked as well as Neutrogena.

I make a homemade skin moisturizer made with 1/4 cup of glycerin and 1 cup of water. You can add a few drops of essential oil for fragrance too. You should be able to find glycerin in the pharmacy section of stores like Walmart or Target in the same area as you would find things like band-aids or rubbing alcohol.
Glycerin has water binding capabilities that allow it to draw and absorb moisture from the air which in turn can help keep your skin moist and soft. Glycerin is made from liquid and fats derived from vegetable oil and is a natural skin protectant.
I put my glycerin mixture in a mist bottle, which works much better than a spray bottle. It takes a little getting used to because it does not have the familiar creaminess of skin lotions. However it is very effective on dry skin without being oily.

Young Living carries over 300 products that are essential oils. Sandalwood is one that is highly recommended for moisturizing and then normalizing skin in the long term. They have many other products that incorporate essential oils into moisturizing creams and soaps. Maybe that will give you a bit of information to look through their site. Personally I love their products so much I chose to start buying at wholesale rather than paying full price.

I recommend tea tree oil for correcting any skin imbalances. This essential oil tends to have a balancing effect. While it doesn't smell quite as nice as others oils, it definitely gets the job done.
Tea tree oil is fantastic for dry or oily skin. Somehow, it naturally corrects the extreme, bringing your skin back into natural harmony. For dry skin, using it will replace moisture by helping to seal your skin. Use a cotton swab to apply a thin layer to the affected area twice a day. In just a week or so, you should notice a difference. Continue the regimen as often as needed.
In addition, tea tree oil has further helpful benefits. Use it to treat skin infections, wounds, etc. Its antiseptic qualities make it a great way to attack pathogens, without worry about side effects. It can be found online, or in the medicine section of many grocers and natural foods stores.
