To ease your breathing while you have pneumonia you can use Caraway,lemongrass,marjoram,spearmint,and thyme.Also adding Lavender and cederwood will help soothe you so that you can rest.Benzoin and Lavender will help break up congestion.I also advise you to go to the doctor but aromatherapy can help soothe your symptoms in the meantime.

Depending on the type and severity, pneumonia needs to be treated with antibiotics, if it is bacterial or with rest and plenty of fluids if it is viral.

Most commonly, aromatherapy may help to ease the symptoms of pneumonia. Most recommended essential oils are eucalyptus, pine, lavender, mint, and tea tree, in a form of steam inhalations or gently rubbed in the patientÂ’s back and chest.
