I lived in NJ most of my life. I'm a very light skinned Italian. All of my summers were spent on the beach and I have the brown spots to prove it. So my arsenal of beauty products may be different then your needs.

I use a hydro-cortisone 4% by Neo-Strata for 1 spot on my face and it has lightened it considerably. Then I use Neo-Strata cream around the eyes and mouth. From there I do not leave the house any time of year without sunscreen (Lancone) . Over that goes a product called Nanoblur - truly amazing stuff that makes you look like your skin is flawless. Then a mineral powder - not brand specific then a mineral bronzer on the cheeks - not brand specific. On the eyes I use whatever mid price eye shadow is on sale. Mascara I don't wear that often and throw it out once a month so I get whatever is on sale. I wear contacts and I'm not interested in an eye infection. Lip liner I like the Revlon Color Stay. Lipstick - Dior it's lipstick on steroids.

So at this point I'm thinking laser for the one spot and the tiny lines although you can't see them, I check everyday. The minute they can't be puffed out by the Neo Strata I'm there.
