Male facial skin care tips How men can take care of their facial skin? |
Answer 2/5 - Submitted 5/26/2011
Unlike Women skin, Men skin is tough. My advice is to keep it simple.
- Wash your face daily especially after returning from work.
- Use any popular Men's face wash only. ( You could also use Soap)
- Use Shaving gel instead of cream because the cream makes your skin rough & dry after shaving. While the Gel has content that smoothen your skin.
Hope this helps :)

While men's skin can be tougher than women's the same four steps of a skincare routine are the same.
1. Cleanse (with a facial cleanser, if you use soap it can dry the skin, which leads your skin to aging prematurely)
2. Treat (if you need to spot treat acne, or want to use serums to fight signs of aging, those are considered treaments)
3. Moisturize (the biggest reason people start to see signs of aging is because their skin isn't hydrated well enough/appropriately)
4. Protect (wear SPF of at least 30 EVERY DAY!)
If you follow these steps, you will maintain good, healthy skin. You can also find products that do more than one thing to minimize the actual number of items you need to apply to your skin (e.g. a good moisturizer that also offers an SPF of 30 or more)

I would suggest that men keep shaving. What you do when you do this is exfoliate your skin. A study has been done once to find out why it generally takes men longer to age than women.
Their secret? They basically exfoliate daily when they shave. This apparently plays a large role on how men age slower than women, for the most part.
Keep shaving. You will look younger, and age slower.
I have learned something from this study. Exfoliating regularly really does impact the quality of your skin. Hopefully, I will too start to age slower.
